The Lane House in Crawfordsville, Indiana, has been named a 2016-2017 U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home.
U.S. News & World Report rates centers using data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services covering health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of care.
Fewer than 13 percent of nursing homes received a Best rating.
The Lane House is one of 2,005 facilities in the country that received the Best honor, achieving top nursing home status among more than 15,000 nationwide.
“We feel this is the result of an ongoing team effort by our facility to always strive to provide those we serve with the very best we can give,” said Cynthia Stevens, executive director at the center. “Whether providing the best therapy and skilled nursing care possible or serving our residents in some other capacity, all our associates have the same goal in mind: quality service to those in our community. It is an honor to be recognized in a national way for our efforts.”
